From Minturno to Nuneaton: A Family Tradition
Every pizza that leaves our kitchen carries a piece of our story. It's a story that started in a small village called Minturno in Latina, Lazio—a place where food isn't just something you eat, it's how you connect with family, with tradition, and with each other.
Chris and Ben opened Pizza Pazzo in 2021 with one mission: to bring the authentic taste of Italy to Nuneaton. We're not just a father and son running a restaurant—we're custodians of a family legacy that's been passed down through generations. Every recipe, every technique, every decision we make is rooted in that heritage from our small Italian village.
The Craft Behind Every Slice
We do it all together. From the moment flour hits the table to the final garnish, this is a family operation through and through.
Our dough and sauce? Those are family secrets we guard fiercely. Every morning, we hand-prepare our dough and let it prove for at least 48 hours. It's not about cutting corners or chasing speed—it's about respecting the craft. That slow fermentation is where the real magic happens: deeper flavor, perfect texture, and a pizza that tastes like it actually means something.
But our passion doesn't stop there. We make everything in-house—our own sauces, our own dips, our own cookie dough and waffle mix. When you taste that difference, you'll know why. It's not mass-produced. It's made
Sourcing from the Heart
We could take the easy route and source from UK mainstream wholesalers, but that's not who we are. Our ingredients are imported directly from Italy because we believe in supporting other Italian family businesses—the ones carrying the same torch we are. It's not just about quality (though that's absolutely part of it). It's about connection.
It's about knowing the hands behind our supply chain, understanding the stories of the farmers and producers who've poured their souls into these ingredients. When you eat at Pizza Pazzo, you're tasting the dedication of Italian families who, like us, refuse to compromise.

In 2023, we won the Just Eat Award for Best Restaurant & Takeaway in the West Midlands. That moment? That was everything. It validated what we'd been working toward since day one. But more importantly, it was a moment we got to share with you—our incredible customers, our community, the people who believed in us.
